About
Apna Ghar, Inc. (Our Home) offers the Emergency Shelter program, which maintains a culturally inclusive and healing environment, providing women and their children who are escaping abuse with a home-like atmosphere in which to heal and establish self-reliance and dignity for up to 90 days. While at the shelter, women may take part in counseling, legal advocacy, support groups, parenting classes, conflict management and communication training, art therapy, and parent-child cultural and recreational activities.
