The Shelter Placement and Resource Center (SPARC) provides a 24/7 intake site dedicated to connecting single adults to shelter placements and offering basic interim services. These services include access to food, showers, and overflow shelter. SPARC can serve up to 200 individuals waiting for shelter placement. Once full capacity is reached, both daytime and overnight waiting areas will close. SPARC is operated by Franciscan Outreach and New Life Centers, with funding provided by the Illinois Department of Human Services.
