About
Greenhouse Shelter is one of the largest shelters in the city of Chicago. The shelter offers many unique and culturally specific services, including multilingual services. The dedicated Greenhouse Shelter staff partners with victims to help them begin to heal from their abuse and to create a life that is free from violence. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the shelter has 42 beds and operates at full capacity year-round. Clients who are deemed eligible for this program after the intake process may also access free diapers from the agency.
